Important Upcoming Dates: Ground School & Annual Validations
Updated: Sep 29, 2020
Good evening all,
Below are announcements on two important matters to our Cadet Program needing your urgency and attention.
This is a call for all 220 cadets interested in participating in the regular Ground School Program that will be held regularly every Wednesday evening (virtually for now) from 19h00 - 21h00.
This will be led by Capt. Savage, Mr. Josh Hinz, and FSgt Luquer. FSgt Luquer has also made a form on Google Classrooms to capture how many cadets are intending on taking the Glider/Pilot Exam this year. Cadets must be 16 years of age by Sept 1, 2021 to write for the Glider Qual and 17 by Sept 1, 2021 to qualify for the Power Qual. They musts be prepared to put in the work required to write the National Qualification Exam in November.
Likely acting as the first session, there will also be an orientation/information session via Zoom Wed. Sept 30th will be an orientation / information session via Zoom with Capt. Savage, pending meeting details.
More information will be provided at that time.
Mr. Hinz will prepare notes with Capt Savage to distribute to ALL cadets who are interested in participating in this season’s ground school program.
By now everyone should have received their Annual Validations along with instructions regarding their return to Admin via email. If you haven’t received your validation please email us at 220Air@cadets.gc.ca
