From the staff of 220 Red River Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron (RCACS)
As at August 24, 2020
Due to the current medical situation related to COVID 19, we are closely following and complying with federal and provincial health policies and guidelines to ensure the safety of all cadets and personnel. As a result, the Canadian Cadet Organization is restricting public activities and access to Minto Armouries.
Phase 3 of the way forward has been released by the Commander with a particular focus on planning and preparing to conduct limited in-person activities while operating within a COVID-198 environment. Conditions permitting, we will conduct limited, in- person cadet training starting October 1, 2020. More information will follow for all current cadets enrolled.
Those who wish to join Air Cadets, you are encouraged to start an application here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1eAC5OtOQRlF2zT0zvkScim4vUgcaM7A_?usp=sharing. The application process is mostly online with limited face-to-face contact. Where it is necessary to see an applicant in person, we will contact you directly. All applicable provincial health guidelines will apply.
Thank you for your interest in joining the Royal Canadian Air Cadets.
If we invite you for an appointment, additional protective questions, including increased questions specific to your circumstance will be necessary. Due to current circumstances, our response and application processing times may be a little longer and we hope we can count on your understanding.
These efforts are taken to ensure maximum care for both our cadets, families, and squadron staff.
