Recruiting

From the staff of 220 Red River Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadron (RCACS)

As at October 1, 2021

Thank you for your interest in joining the Royal Canadian Air Cadets with 220 Red River Squadron.

Due to the current medical situation related to COVID 19, we are closely following and complying with federal and provincial health policies and guidelines to ensure the safety of all cadets and personnel. As a result, the Canadian Cadet Organization is currently restricting public activities in and access to Minto Armoury where we regularly parade.

New Applicants

Those who wish to join Air Cadets, you are encouraged to start an application here https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1eAC5OtOQRlF2zT0zvkScim4vUgcaM7A_?usp=sharing

The application process is mostly online with limited face-to-face contact. Where it is necessary to see an applicant's documents in-person, we will contact you directly. All applicable provincial health guidelines will apply.

If we invite you for an appointment, additional protective questions, including increased questions specific to your circumstance, will be necessary. Due to current circumstances, our response and application processing times may be more than one week. We hope we can count on your understanding.

As per direction released by the Commander Cadets and Junior Cadet Rangers, there is particular focus on planning and preparing to conduct limited in-person activities while operating within a COVID-19 environment. Conditions permitting, we will conduct limited, in- person cadet training starting October 1, 2021.

More information will follow for all current cadets.
